Accounts Manager

Overview:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. The role requires you to establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
    • Month & end year process.
    • Cash Receipts and forecasting.
    • General ledger.
    • Payroll & utilities.
    • Treasury, budgeting.
    • Revenue & expenditure variance analysis.
    • Process-Vendor Payment
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions in order to create financial reports or statements.
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable & Receivable with good working knowledge of GST, Service tax, TDS.
  • Preparing & filing monthly GST returns & Reconciliation statement.
  • Prepares and records – asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Person should have team handling experience.
  • Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger along with MIS reports.
  • Candidate must be a graduate having overall experience of accounts, finance, banking, taxation etc. to maintain books of accounts, finalize accounts, get accounts audited, submit desired details for taxation compliance, maintain bank accounts, MIS, budgeting, cash flow etc.

Key competency and skills :

  • 10+ yrs. of proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
  • Candidate must have experience of maintaining accounts in Tally for companies and would be discharging duties reporting directly to Partners/ Directors.
  • Should have handled a team of junior members.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software (Tally ERP) and databases.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Real Estate/Construction Industry Experience is a must.
